Corfe Castle has stood for nearly a millennium and has seen far worse than the Beast from the East or Storm Emma so it was no surprise that Love Cake and the rest of the town were back to normal. We were feeling the chill having only walked from the town square and so the Boston baked beans on toast were my winter warmer while Sarah had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
The Boston baked beans were a comforting dish with the sweetness of the onions and tomatoes complemented by the saltiness of bacon lardons. Perfectly poached eggs sat on top of the generous portion of beans with some excellent multi-grain toast. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg was done simply, as it should be.RuPaul - Born Naked (Stadium Remix) Official Music Video
